Let us pray for the repose of the soul of John Geoghan...
Perhaps asking for people to pray for this defrocked priest, convicted of molesting children, may raise the ire of people, but in my opinion, the soul of this man needs our prayers. May we pray for him, that he repented of his crimes against children of God. Likewise, let us also take this time to pray for his victims, that God may heal the pain of the trials they had to endure, and that the circumstances of John Geoghan's death do not weigh on their conscience.
